What is the gem?

The gem is a micro-sized, single-shot, multi-projectile, air-pistol.

What makes the gem unique?

The gem is the smallest CO2-powered air-pistol in the world, and uses interchangeable barrels to shoot different types of projectiles.

What does the gem shoot?

The gem is capable of shooting 4.5mm Steel BBs, 6mm Airsoft BBs, 50 cal Paintballs, and 9mm Air-Rockets.

What does the gem use for power?

The gem is designed to use 8 gram CO2 cylinders, but can also use standard 12 gram cylinders as well*.

How do you change barrels on the gem?

The 4.5mm Steel BB and 6mm Airsoft BB barrels use inner barrel tubes that slide in and out via removable barrel caps. The Paintball and Rocket barrels require the removal of the barrel pivot screw.

Do all the different barrels come with the gem?

The gem comes with both 4.5mm Steel BB and 6mm Airsoft barrels. The 50 cal Paintball and 9mm Rocket barrels are sold separately.

How small is the gem?

The gem has a 1.75 inch barrel, and is only 3.5 inches long. Now that's small!

Is the gem powerful?

For its size, the gem delivers more power than many full-size BB pistols.

Where is the gem made?

The gem is manufactured in Taiwan, but was designed in Canada by Alias Airguns.

Who is the company behind the gem?

Alias Airguns, based in Vancouver, British Columbia, is the designer/supplier of the gem and its accessories.

What is the history of Alias Airguns?

Alias Airguns has been designing Airguns, Airsoft guns, and Paintball guns since 2009. These include the Goblin line of Paintball / Airsoft launchers, Pepperball Self-Defence guns, and Burke Gallery Guns (Miniature Firearms).

Can I buy the gem from any other Airgun dealer of distributor?

For now, Alias Airguns is the source for the gem and its accessories.

The company will be appointing dealers/distributors in the near future.

How do I buy the gem, and how is it shipped?

You can order your gem and accessories directly from the Alias Airguns website, and it'll be shipped directly to you by UPS Standard or Express Delivery.

Is the gem legal to buy in Canada and the USA? What about Europe?

The gem was designed from the outset to be compliant with both the Canadian and American Airgun Regulations.

Does the gem come with a warranty?

The gem carries a limited 12 month warranty that covers the replacement of defective parts and incurred labour.

Can I buy 8 Gram CO2 cylinders directly from Alias Airguns?

Yes, we have our own, branded CO2 Cylinders, specially made for Airgun use.

Can I use other brands of 8 Gram CO2 cylinders?

Yes you can. Just make sure that the cylinders are filled with CO2 and not Nitrogen. (they can look the same)

Do I have to use 8 Gram CO2 cylinders, or can I use 12 Gram CO2 cylinders?

The gem comes set up to use 8 Gram cylinders, however you can buy our optional CO2 Adaptor Knob that lets you use 12 Gram cylinders.

Can I buy extra Air-Rockets for the Rocket Barrel Set?

Yes, we carry spare parts and accessories for the gem and its optional Barrel Sets.
