The Gem Was Featured in Airgun Hobbyist
THE gem CO2 AIR PISTOL was featured in a recent article in the January edition of Airgun Hobbyist, that explores our revolutionary miniature air pistol, dubbed "the world's smallest commercially available CO2 air pistol."
Here is a short excerpt from the article:
"Not so long ago we awaited the release of a wonderful new CO2 BB gun, the diminutive and tiny Atom 8 by Goblin Airsoft. Goblin had been making specialist and fun skirmishing weapons for the airsoft market for a considerable period of time. It was totally logical that they would turn their attention to BB guns. Nobody saw a world-wide plague looming on the horizon. The Covid pandemic put paid to a lot of neat ideas and dreams. The Atom 8 was, very painfully for everyone, a direct casualty.
It has not been the only design that was forced into a dead stop. Over the years there have been more than a few airguns that despite best care and financial planning have all failed even after the tooling and prototyping stage. The Webley Paradigm single stroke pneumatic air rifle from the UK is one example. So too, some American CO2 air pistols never made it to full production only to vanish without a trace, like the super 1950s Martin Automatic Repeating Air Pistol from Hollywood. David Burke the man behind the Atom8, Goblin and also Burke Gallery Guns, the crafters of working finest quality miniature firearms, was not content to just let all that hard work and time go to total waste."
